ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Since my childhood in Arequipa, Peru, I have always sought to learn and grow. Despite not having great privileges, my thirst for knowledge led me to excel in school and pursue my studies in engineering. It has never been easy, and along this path, each obstacle has been an opportunity to learn valuable lessons, which I have then shared.
In my professional career, I have faced challenges that have tested my leadership and resilience. I have worked on international projects, which have allowed me to adapt to different cultures and situations. Each experience, whether in higher education or on a construction project, has taught me the importance of teamwork and, above all, perseverance.
Over the years, I have maintained my commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. Today, through my writing, I aim to inspire others to overcome adversities and achieve their goals, reminding them that true success lies in determination and passion for what we do.
INSPIRATIONS
Como autor de «Ratalandia», mi inspiración surge de mi firme compromiso con la transparencia y la justicia social. A lo largo de mi carrera, he sido testigo de la corrupción y la falta de ética en la política y la prensa, y siento la responsabilidad de denunciar estas injusticias a través de mi escritura.
Mantengo el deseo de generar conciencia y promover un cambio positivo en la sociedad peruana. Con «Ratalandia», busco exponer la mediocridad y la falta de moral que han impregnado a nuestros «líderes políticos» y en los medios de comunicación, con la esperanza de inspirar a otros a ser agentes activos de transformación.
Al escribir «Ratalandia», mi objetivo es refrescar y revelar la corrupción y la falta de transparencia que afectan a la política y los medios de comunicación en el Perú.
What angers me the most is the lack of integrity and, above all, the impunity with which certain political leaders and media figures operate, mocking the trust of the people and perpetuating a failed system.
It disturbs me to see pseudo-opinion leaders giving moral lectures while being complicit in the deplorable role of the press.
My hope is that this book inspires a desire to participate in building a fairer and more transparent country.
I aspire for its reading to ignite the flame of civic consciousness and motivate action to transform our society from within the private sphere, reducing the influence of this harmful duo of politicians and the press.
